goodbye world cup!

So a month of eating with football and sleeping with football has officially come to an end. For many people, the World Cup ended on Monday. For me, the World Cup just ended because the last World Cup diary program of Vietnam TV was broadcast yesterday. regret took over my mind that the World Cup was over, but eventually, I have accepted that fact. Yesterday and Monday, I reviewed memorable World Cup moments. There will be no more days when I tried to get up before 9:30 am intime to watch the Fifa World Cup pitch program. 10am was the time when i deposited the World Cup diary pages. At 12 o’clock, I opened Youtube to watch the world cup program from a to z. At 6:35 pm was the exciting program of world football. I won’t forget the group stage time when there were matches at 5pm, I rushed home from my university quickly for fear of missing the first minutes of the matches. In the evening, I immersed myself in the top matches. Many times, my heart was suffocated because I was worried about my favorite football team. Then emotions exploded when the team scored or wins. There were times when i was sleepy, I monologued about the team’s tactics like an online coach to ease my sleepiness. Every world cup moment was precious, I didn’t want to miss a single moment. Like that for 1 month, I headed to bed at 4 am and woke up at 9 am. During the day, i watched programs accompanying the world cup. In the evening, i watched football. Those things have become a hard habit to break. When the world cup passed, I felt down. But anyway, during the past 1 month, I have had a lot of fun. I wish I could pack my world cup memories into a box, when I feel nostalgic, I’ll open that box and enter the memories. To choose adjectives to describe this world cup, I will pick the following adjactives: unexpected, emotional and special. In short, it was a unique world cup in history. At first, I didn’t like qataar as the host. But then thanks to qataar, me and the football lovers were able to witness an unprecedented world cup in history like this. Thank you to the host country, thank you to the 32 teams that made the world cup amazing! Goodbye Qatar and see you in the US, Canada and Mexico in the next 4 years with the new 48-team format.

  2. I mean, I don’t like football but I understand what you mean. After the new Polish game, CHronicles of mYrtana was released i was watching gameplays everyday and I felt so empty inside when it ended.

  3. Morocco, Croatia, Ecuador and Japan made this worldcup super special and super exciting for me.
I have to say, I also watched it, loved every moment of it that I could spend on watching those matches and embracing the emotions of the supporters of whichever team was playing.
I always tended to pick a side, for many reasons, fun being one of them of course.
I can’t wait until the Euro and of course, the next tournament.

  4. This is what usually happens. People have different teams they support, and that’s what I like about team sports.

  5. It was definitely an unusual tournament with all the events that happened. But I’m glad Argentina won. This is a nice country with a very strong team and they deserve it.
