78 years ago, on August 1, 1944, at 5:00 p.m. soldiers of the Polish Army began the Warsaw Uprising. The greatest uprising against Nazi Germany, one of the greatest city battles in history. 63 days of free, sovereign and independent heart of poland. A few days ago Vietnam also celebrated the day of remembrance of the soldiers who died in the war. Vietnam and Poland have had a very hard history. i am truly grateful to those who sacrificed their lives to gain independence for the country.

oh, i also remember it. and the day before was russian navy day.
This is also the day when the First World War began in 1914 with Germany declaring war on Russia.
