Work: loneliness on the net or samotnosc w sieci according to the origional polish title, Author: janusz leon wisniewski Today, I will bring to everyone a book that is considered a classic of contemporary Polish literature, which has been consecutively on the top of the best seller for many years in Polish and has been translated into many languages. Since its release in 2001 until now, the book’s heat has not cooled down when it is warmly received by many readers around the world. It’s loneliness on the net of janusz leon wisniewski. The book began with an unsuccessful suicide attempt. From then on, the progression kept twisting, with intertwined character lines. The book was about him, a young computer scientist with a high IQ and a mind like a double helix DNA chain atgx, who seemd to have a perfect life. His life would be filled with happiness if fate let him and his first love be together forever. Natalia was the greatest gift this life had given him. She was a mute girl, but she had a deep and rich interior. Natalia’s voiceless love has taught him the language that had enabled him to discover the best parts of life and see the world more highly. This life was really full of doubts and fate was very tantalizing when it brought natalia as a gift and then it was fate that took her from him and took the girl he loved away from him forever. While alive, natalia had captured his whole heart. When she died, she took away half of his soul. After natalia’s death, his world fell apart. He had an asthma attack, his mind fell into depression. To ease the pain of loss, he devoted all his time to read. he read books to forget days and nights. As he said, reading was a way to bandage a wound. And the more he retreated into the world that was once small, the smaller it was now. Above all, he had become a loner. her, a beautiful woman whose eye color changed depending on her mood. She lived with a wealthy husband who sufferd from workaholics. Even when he came home, he was always thinking about the design contracts he was working on. His love for her had long since cooled. She was like many other women who wanted love and pampering from the man of her life. And she was also a loner. The late 90s were the beginning of the internet development. Accordingly, icq was born as a tool to help people connect with each other on the internet. She went on icq to find an anonymous person to share with her unsatisfactory things in life. Here, she met him. The Internet had brought these two lonely people to fill each other’s gaps in each other’s souls. They met on icq every day. They chatted about everything from genetics to computer science, music, the decline of philosophy to the deepest emotions. Gradually, they became an integral part of each other’s lives. They didn’t want to leave each other as the weekend approached, and looked forward to the start of the week so they could meet on the office computer. Together long enough, they longed for the other’s presence in their world. they sent each other the stuff that confirmed each other’s existence. Sometimes, they ordered pizza to bring to the office, sat at the computer and ate together. Sometimes, they played music that the other liked to enjoy together. For him, it was been a long time since he had the feeling of loving someone again. He wanted her to be his only. He wanted her to think of him every time she choosed underwear, lipstick, perfume. He knew that she was not just for him, but he still felt jealous every time he saw pictures of her walking with her husband at events. As for her, the fire of love that had been extinguished in her heart was now burning strongly. Parts of her became conflicted. Her heart affirms her feelings for him, her ego tried to stop her. Her heart won. The Internet was just virtual. It was just a place for words to communicate, not a place for passionate and deep love. They decided to step out, the virtual world gave up the unrelenting longing that the heart was screaming. They made an appointment to meet at the magnificent parries. In those short days, they gave each other a kind of tender and passionate love. Perhaps those were the best days of their lives. Thought this was a happy song with a beautiful ending. But not! An unexpected ending left regrets, pains, and thoughts in the reader’s heart. Reading to the last pages, readers must wish that they were only reading the first pages so that they wouldn’t have any regrets. The book was also the love stories of other lonely people such as: crazy love story between jim, a drug dealer and Kim, daughter of a famous surgeon, or love story between a priest and a nun. Besides, the author’s understanding of genetics, information technology and many other fields. The characters’ hearts were sketched in a relatively complicated way. All intertwined to create a picture with a very unique color.

  1. I try not to judge a book by the cover, but sometimes I just can’t get over myself haha

  2. Senter, really? Maybe the ways of expression are different, however, you know what I mean.
WHen I was younger I used to perceive this book the most boring I had ever read, however, now I am able to understand these protagonists.
